Dear cac anh chi,

I would like to share with you some of the exciting work the CSS East
web development team has been exploring over the last few weeks. The
activities are currently exploratory in nature, aiming to better
understanding the capability, issues or benefits of the tools out
there.

1. Anh Hung has been experimenting with Google Sites, which is a tool
framework for simple web page editing/update. He has started trying to
replicate our csseast.org web site here:

http://sites.google.com/site/csseastorg/

We envision that Google Site can be used for internal web site, or for
quick web site development for new locales or for event specific web
sites.

2. Anh Than Hoa has also been prototyping with Drupal, a Content
Management System (CMS). A CMS allows us to develop and update web
site a lot more quickly.

Anh Than Hoa also records his work here:

3. Anh Tam Anh has been testing Wiki. We envision having CK10 and
integral Meditation content contributing by all internal sources
available on Wiki for training and references:

http://wiki.csseast.org

He also prototype his own version of Drupal:

http://www.csseast.org/testweb1/

and even found time to create a forum for internal discussion here:

4. Finally, OC is building its own version of an internal web site
(not for the public, but for internal CSS members world wide only),
still currently undergoing testing here:

As you can see, lot of exciting work! Also lots of work remaining to
be done. We current have very significant needs for content
contributors. Anh Thuong and I are trying to work out a spec for the
web site right now and we'll ask for your help to edit contents.

At the ITC Convention in August, I would like to showcase what we did,
so we do have quite a lot to do. I'm still looking for content editor
volunteers! :-)

Thank you for all the great work!

PS: These are all internal web sites under development for internal
use only. Please do not forward.
